Democratic Party affiliates join forces with communist groups for nationwide May Day protests today, forming a radical “red-blue alliance” that threatens American values under President Trump’s second term.
May Day Protests Underway Nationwide
Protests launched on May 1, 2026, across major cities including New York, Washington, D.C., and Chicago. Communist Party USA (CPUSA) distributed leaflets urging workers to rise against MAGA policies labeled as racist and anti-democratic. Revolutionary Communist Party activists called for dismantling the capitalist-imperialist system. Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) completed art builds in late April to prepare materials. These events involve an anti-imperialist contingent in NYC and activities in 25 cities, exceeding prior years’ scale.
Red-Blue Alliance Involves 600 Groups
Approximately 600 organizations, boasting $2 billion in combined revenue, back the protests. Communist and socialist entities like CPUSA, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) with 80 chapters, PSL with 25 liberation centers, Maoist Communist Union, People’s Forum, ANSWER Coalition, and Code Pink lead mobilization. Democratic affiliates include Indivisible’s 200 chapters, MoveOn.org, American Federation of Teachers, and 13 state or local DNC chapters such as California Democratic Party. This coalition advances anti-MAGA and socialist themes.
Foreign Funding and Historical Hijacking
Neville Roy Singham funds networks overlapping DSA, PSL, and Democratic groups, echoing Chinese Communist Party propaganda per reports. May Day originated in 1886 U.S. labor struggles for the eight-hour workday in Chicago, supported by Knights of Labor and socialists. It evolved into socialism’s high holy day via the Communist International. Post-Bernie Sanders, DSA growth revived left-labor ties, but critics frame 2026 events as radical co-optation, shifting from worker solidarity to anti-capitalist agitation against Trump’s America-first policies.
Power dynamics show far-left groups dictating logistics while Democratic infrastructure amplifies reach through labor unions, immigration, and climate organizations. This alignment risks government overreach tolerance among moderates frustrated with past leftist excesses like open borders and fiscal mismanagement.

Impacts and Expert Warnings
Short-term disruptions hit urban areas with heightened anti-MAGA rhetoric. Long-term, Democratic ties to extremists alienate centrists, creating political homelessness among moderates who reject woke agendas and inflation drivers. Democratic strategist Melissa DeRosa criticizes alliances for hijacking worker traditions with fantasy agendas, morphing Democrats into DSA pamphlets. Leftist views from CPUSA and Jacobin celebrate resistance; conservatives highlight infiltration dangers. Even DeRosa notes blurred lines erode family values and individual liberty.

What a bunch of silliness. There is no such thing as the “Revolutionary Communist Party”. Of course there are communists in other countries, but hardly any in the United States. This story is nothing but a cheap propaganda piece meant to frighten people so they will obey the government without question.
How many of these new communist supporters have opened their homes to immigrants. How many are feeding, clothing, sheltering them in their own homes with their own money?…….crickets

What “communist supporters” are you talking about? May Day is simply a celebration of working people, which you would be, too, if you actually had a job. Many people in my community have opened their homes to immigrants, in a spirit of tolerance and Christian charity. Why don’t you try that, instead of showing your willingness to blame your failures on other people? Immigrants built this country, not you.
