Pelosi’s OWN Admission Torpedoes Trump Attack…

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi launched into another attack on President Trump during a Capitol ceremony this week, reigniting old January 6 accusations while conservatives point to her own admitted failures in security that allowed the breach to happen.

Pelosi Returns to January 6 Talking Points

Nancy Pelosi delivered remarks at a U.S. Capitol ceremony on March 25, 2026, unveiling a plaque honoring law enforcement who responded during January 6, 2021. The 85-year-old former Speaker used the occasion to criticize President Trump, claiming he incited an insurrection on that day. Trump was never charged with insurrection despite years of Democrat-led investigations and two impeachment proceedings. The event highlighted the ongoing partisan divide over January 6, with Democrats continuing to frame it as Trump-incited violence while conservatives point to security failures by congressional leadership.

Released Footage Contradicts Pelosi’s Narrative

House Oversight Committee footage released in June 2024 undermines Pelosi’s blame-shifting toward Trump. The video shows Pelosi herself stating “I take responsibility” for the security failures that allowed the Capitol breach to occur. Just the News reported that Pelosi’s aides received warnings beforehand about a potential breach but declined offers of National Guard troops. Both Pelosi and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser allegedly rejected additional security despite advance intelligence. These facts raise serious questions about who actually bears responsibility for the security lapses that day, contradicting the narrative that Trump alone caused the events.

Pattern of Misdirection Frustrates Americans

The timing of Pelosi’s speech reflects a broader pattern that frustrates conservative Americans facing real crises. While Pelosi rehashes five-year-old grievances, the Trump administration is embroiled in a war with Iran that many supporters feel betrays campaign promises to avoid regime change conflicts. Energy costs remain high, household budgets are strained, and the focus on January 6 seems designed to distract from current failures. This represents exactly the kind of political theater that drove voters to support Trump initially—endless investigations and blame games instead of addressing tangible problems affecting working families daily.

Pelosi’s continued influence as a Democratic elder stateswoman, despite no longer holding the Speaker’s gavel, demonstrates how establishment figures maintain power through media narratives rather than elected accountability. Her March 25 remarks politicized what should have been a straightforward tribute to law enforcement officers who protected the Capitol. The ceremony became another opportunity to attack Trump rather than honor those who served during a chaotic moment, regardless of who ultimately bears responsibility for allowing that chaos to develop.

Security Failures Deserve Honest Accounting

The factual record shows Pelosi held significant authority over Capitol security as Speaker during January 6. Congressional leadership, not the President, controls Capitol Police and security decisions for the legislative branch. Released communications demonstrate warnings reached Pelosi’s office about potential violence, yet additional security measures were not implemented. These are not partisan assertions but documented facts that deserve examination. Conservatives arguing for a complete accounting of January 6 security decisions are not defending violence but demanding honesty about what failures occurred and who made critical decisions that left the Capitol vulnerable to breach.

  1. What a load of ignorant crap, and all of it targeted and brainless MAGAt wackos. Nancy Pelosi had absolutely NO authority over the National Guard, or any other military unit, during the disgraceful Jan 6 attack on the Capitol. But Trump, as commander in chief, absolutely and undeniably DID.

  2. Stand down Mr. Knight…your beloved NP remained silent or sat on her hands when there was unbiased awareness of potential issues during the night in question…silence is “NOT” vindication but failure to “ACT” is a righteous “CHARGE” so unmount your high horse and accept responsibility!

  3. I suggest you SIT down, sport, and listen up. You might learn something. Why would you believe the Speaker had ANY authority over a military unit? Obviously you know nothing about the chain of command, which begins with the President. Trump had only to put down his Diet Coke, pick up the phone, and say, “Stop it!” But he was too busy urging his mindless brainwashed zombies to hang Pence.
